Authentic U.S. Air Force parka overcoat with original pile liner, dating to the Korean War era.

Manufactured by Trenton Sportswear Inc. under a June 30th 1951 Quartermaster contract.

Original Olive green cotton canvas shell

Original snap in pile liner included

Original Talon metal zipper with canvas pull cord

Hood with drawcord

Slanted button chest pockets & large lower waist button cargo pockets

Buttoned cuffs

Inner sweater cuffs— excellent condition.

Condition:

This pre-owned parka shows mild-moderate general wear and age.

Shell has areas of fabric wear, light stains and small holes/abrasions, including on cuffs, along some edges pockets and lower backside.

Liner is in very good vintage condition, pile remains intact with no holes, no heavy wear nor sizable stains.

Zipper, buttons and snaps are present, original and in proper working condition.

No holes in pockets.

Waist belt cover on left side front is detaching about 2.5”. (See Pics-Could be fairly easily repaired.)

No modern repairs or alterations.

Chest -Pit-to-pit flat across outside: 25” ( with liner will fit about 1-2” tighter.)

LENGTH—Shoulder to hem down back—40”

Back width—shoulder seam- shoulder seam: 19”

Sleeve length: 26” shoulder seam to cuff hem outside.

Waist—outside measurement seam to seam flat across—24” (with liner it will fit about an inch or so tighter/ smaller)
