Item Description
E arly 20th century Kodak No. 2 Folding Pocket Brownie Model B camera with distinctive red bellows and Brownie Automatic shutter. The camera has a black leatherette covered wooden body, folding front bed, small brilliant viewfinder and a leather carry strap. The No. 2 Folding Pocket Brownie line was produced by Eastman Kodak in Rochester, USA in the early 1900s as a compact roll film camera for amateur photographers. Mullard Antiques and Collectibles Model B versions like this were made with red bellows on earlier examples and later with black bellows and are now popular with collectors and as decorative display pieces. Condition Report
Body covering shows surface scuffs, edge wear and some small losses to the leatherette at corners and edges, with tarnish and light rust on the metal fittings and hardware. Red bellows appear complete with age related dust; not checked for pinholes or light leaks. Lens, viewfinder and winding key show age marks and dust, and all mechanisms including shutter are untested so the camera is untested – sold as seen.
