Caso Rojo MMM Macho Man Monastrell Jumilla

Produced in Spain’s Jumilla region, this bold red wine is made by Casa Rojo using Monastrell from dry-farmed vineyards in La Raja Valley. Vines range from 8 to 80 years old and grow on limestone-rich soils between the Sierra del Carche and Sierra de la Pila. Grapes are hand-harvested into small boxes to preserve quality.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by 5 months ageing in French oak barrels. This short maturation adds subtle toast and spice while retaining the grape’s natural fruit intensity and freshness.

TASTING NOTES - Beautiful red in colour with violet hues typical of the Monastrell variety. On the nose it is fruity with toasted nuances provided by the short time in oak. In the mouth a balanced acidity, with ripe tannins that make for a fruity long finish
