These templates are cut to the exact size so a bearing guided flush cutter will be needed. (Not a guide bush)CNC precision cut from MR 9mm MDF

MDF is thick enough to use with standard flush cutter bits {need to get
the full bearing on the template for that first pass}
All my templates are CAD drawn according original specifications with all center lines marked

TIPS FOR FIRST-TIMERS

SETUP

Have your centreline marked up on your stock before you start.
Draw around the perimeter of the template then cut/ trim to about 10mm from your line.

Make sure the template is fixed down very secure. (I use masking tape on both the stock and a template then super glue together).

CUTTING

Clamp down your stock securely to your bench.
Make sure you have the full bearing on the template.
I always do a first cut of about 2-3mm to get a feel of how the stock is responding.
(Most mistakes are made on that first pass)
Don't try to cut too deep on each pass..
Each pass should be no deeper than the thickness of your cutter.
slow down when you get to the end grain.
