Van Helsing Werewolf Antiserum Syringe Prop Replica - Made from Metal!

This is a replica of the syringe of werewolf antiserum from Stephen Sommers’ fantasy-adventure film Van Helsing. After Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) is bitten by the Wolfman (Will Kemp) he discovers Dracula (Richard Roxburgh) has a cure, which companions Anna (Kate Beckinsale) and Carl (David Wenham) force Igor (Kevin J. O’Connor) to lead them to. The syringe is about 12-16.5 inches (304-419mm) long (the plunger moves) and about 1.25 inches (31.75mm) in diameter. The empty syringe weighs 15.5oz (439g). Our prop syringe is a 1:1 scale replica of the syringe seen in the movie. It is made from metal and gold plated with an antique finish. It comes with your choice of a glass or acrylic tube.* In the original syringe the inside of the tube is painted red to resemble the serum. The plunger moves through the tube. The stainless steel 'needle' has a dome shaped safety tip. It also has a spring loaded retractable feature so it can be used as a stunt syringe in video effects to make it appear as though the serum is being injected or blood is being drawn. This syringe features rubber seals that help to protect the glass/acrylic (please note that this is a prop syringe and not intended for liquid storage - it is possible that liquid can leak). This prop syringe functions the same as other stunt syringes in that the liquid does not pass through the needle. Instead, the liquid will pass through the plunger tube. If it is just going to be on display then the glass tube will look better but if you are planning on handling it then you should get the acrylic tube.
