This is a large set ideally suited for tournament play with a 3.75" (95mm) tall king and a base diameter of 1.50" (38mm). These chessmen are finely crafted by our craftsmen who have inherited this skill for so many years. From the perfect on the King to the minute details of the knight's mane, these Ringy Rosewood and Boxwood pieces have green velvet pads on the bottom which create a soft cushion and allow the pieces to slide smoothly across the chess board. Finely crafted knights adds to the beauty of these chess pieces and what distinguishes this chess set from others is the bishop finial made in the opposite color of the main body. The chess pieces are weighted with total weight of 2.401 lbs (1090 grams) excluding 2 extra queens and its durability will last for years and years to come.
